Holiday Party Planning tips are helpful for planning a fun party, so you can relax and enjoy the festivities.
I recommend the following tips at Gianna and Company. For additional tips or assistance, please call our office.
Music – if you want to have dancing at your party, hire a DJ or a few musicians. Having music on a device does not give off the same energy as a having a professional who can accommodate what you and your guests will like.
Coat Rack – If the weather is cold, purchase or rent a coat rack and hangers. If it is raining, have an area designated for your guests to place their umbrellas.
Lighting – if you are entertaining outside, make sure that you have enough lighting. You want to make sure that your guests can see where they are walking and that your event professionals, i.e., bartender, valet, wait staff have sufficient lighting.
Place cards – If your are having a large sit down dinner party, we recommend having place cards for the guests. Having place cards help make the dinner conversations more interesting.
Car service – we recommend using a reputable service, so your guests can enjoy themselves and not have to be concerned about drinking and driving.
Decor – whether you are having a cocktail party or a dinner party, have fun with the decor. Hire a professional event planner if you don’t have time or DIY.
Try something different – consider a hot chocolate bar for dessert or specialty cocktails.
Hire a professional event planner to walk your event space with you and determine party needs based on an hourly rate. We offer this service and it includes a summary report with event professional recommendations and follow-up.
Wishing everyone wonderful and safe holidays!
Yours truly, Gianna
