How to Rent a Private Home for an Event in Los Angeles. We address our top questions to ask when renting a private property. Once you have decided to rent a private property for an influencer event, wedding or special event, please make sure that you ask the following questions before signing on the dotted line.
- Is the estate available on your preferred date(s)?
- Does the homeowner have any plans to sell and or renovate the property? Check the address out on-line as a precaution.
- What are the music restrictions – will they allow a band or DJ and what is the end time for music?
- Will you have access to a room or rooms to get ready? If yes, which room(s)
- Will you be able to use their bathrooms or do you need to rent?
- What is included in the rental fee? Verify if setup, event and strike access are included.
- What is the parking situation – valet and/or shuttle or Uber and Lyft only?

If you have never planned an event at a private property, we do not recommend learning how to do it at your own event or hiring someone inexperienced at your expense. Once we find the right properties that fit your event, we will recap everything in a scouting agreement before we show it. The scouting agreement includes the estimated rental rate, associated fees, the guest count, event hours, type of event and access times and dates. We charge a small scouting fee to show the properties. We will credit the viewing fee off of the rental fee if our clients book one of the properties shown through us.
