What type of event are you having – wedding, birthday, product launch, anniversary celebration?
Start and end time for your event – when will guests arrive and depart?
How will your guests be arriving – shuttle, valet or Uber and Lyft? Owners will ask us, since some homes cannot have valet and for safety, some owners do not wish to have guests driving.
Type of music – live music or DJ? Some properties cannot have live music since it is difficult to adjust sound levels.
Setup needs – will you be having a tent – usually we have access the day before for lighting, generator and bathroom setup – the more information the better we can communicate with the homeowners.
Rental budget – our estate rentals start at $15,000 and go up. We need to check with each property owner, since some homes start much higher for events.
Once we find the right properties that fit your event, we will recap everything in a scouting agreement. The scouting agreement includes an estimated rental rate, associated fees, your guest count, event hours, type of event and access times and days for setup and teardown and if there is a scouting fee to show the properties. If our clients rent an estate, we will credit the viewing fee off of the rental fee.
