How to Rent a Private Estate Events Los Angeles – Our company has been helping clients rent private estates since 2003.
Here’s a quick overview of how to rent a private estate for special events in Los Angeles:
Determine a budget; since everything needs to be brought on-site. We advise our clients not to spend more than 20–25% of their overall budget on the venue.
To ensure that the property can accommodate your guest count, we advise our clients to estimate their maximum number of guests.
What is the desired end-time of the event? This is crucial so that we may offer suggestions.
We invite our clients to peruse our inventory to determine which areas in Los Angeles will work for them and their architectural preferences. If it’s more convenient, our staff will be happy to assist you and review properties online .
Before showing any homes, our company will recap the details in a “Scouting Agreement” outlining the estimated rental, site rep, cleaning and security fees, guest count, usage and access hours for our client’s review and approval. We charge a minimum of $100 to scout a single property, however, if our clients book the property through our company, we will credit the scouting fee off of the rental fee.
All of our private estate rentals require our clients and their event professionals to have event insurance. Our team will be happy to assist you with the process.
We require a “Refundable Security Deposit” on all property rentals. The refundable security deposit to be used for guest overages, overtime and if there are any additional clean-up or repairs. The rates are negotiated in the location agreement so there are no post event surprises.
We require our clients hire an experienced wedding or event planner, who has experience planning special events at private homes. This is important since the event planners understand what is involved with all of the logistics.
